Character:
There are 4 sets with tiles of characters (1-9).
The meld for characters are:
Pair: (1,1); (2,2); (3,3); ... (9,9);
Triple: (1,1,1); (2,2,2); (3,3,3); ... (9,9,9);
Kong: (1,1,1,1); (2,2,2,2); (3,3,3,3); ... (9,9,9,9);
Sequence: (1,2,3); (2,3,4); (3,4,5); ... (7,8,9);
Dot:
There are 4 sets with tiles of dots (1-9).
The meld for dots are:
Pair: (1,1); (2,2); (3,3); ... (9,9);
Triple: (1,1,1); (2,2,2); (3,3,3); ... (9,9,9);
Kong: (1,1,1,1); (2,2,2,2); (3,3,3,3); ... (9,9,9,9);
Sequence: (1,2,3); (2,3,4); (3,4,5); ... (7,8,9);
Bamboo:
There are 4 sets with tiles of bamboos (1-9).
The meld for bamboos are:
Pair: (1,1); (2,2); (3,3); ... (9,9);
Triple: (1,1,1); (2,2,2); (3,3,3); ... (9,9,9);
Kong: (1,1,1,1); (2,2,2,2); (3,3,3,3); ... (9,9,9,9);
Sequence: (1,2,3); (2,3,4); (3,4,5); ... (7,8,9);
Wind and Dragon:
There are 4 sets with tiles of winds (東南西北) and dragon (中發白).
The meld for bamboo are:
Pair: (東,東); (南,南); (西,西); ... (白,白);
Triple: (東,東,東); (南,南,南); (西,西,西); ... (白,白,白);
Kong: (東,東,東,東); (南,南,南,南); (西,西,西,西); ... (白,白,白,白);
How to win a game:
There are four players to play a Mahjong game. You will get 13 tiles by the rule of Mahjong136. To win the game
needs to get 4 melds and one pair by drawing and discarding tiles (or 7 pairs). You can refer to the following image. One player (西) discards #5 of the dot and you (北) just wait for it to win this game. After touched Bingo (胡), this run is over and you will earn the score.
Back to the begining: Please try to move the cusor over the follwoing image.
The dealer for this run is the first player (東, East). You (北, North) got #7 of Dot. We are then trying to get 4 melds and one pair by drawing and discarding tiles. Please refer to rectangles of the dot lines. Let's try to get triples, sequences and the one paire to win this run.
Pong (碰): Get the triple by a tile discarded by one of other three players
After Pong'ed from the first player (東, East), #6 of Charactor is discarded. You can not change the meld if it's Pong'ed by a tile from others.
Before "Ready Hand":
You (北, North) got #8 of Dot and it can be one of the truple (7,8,9). Once #5 of Bamboo is chosen to be discared, you got "Ready Hanf" of this run: one triple (1,1,1), three sequences (3,4,5) (7,8,9) (4,5,6) and one paile (東,東).
Win the run: Please refer to "How to win a game"
Scoring:
Item #4: You (北, North) won this run by the tile discarded by the second player (西, West). You get 50 points.
Item #3: The second player (西, West) lost 50 points.
Item #2: The icon (莊) indicates who the dealer is. The score will be increased/decreased with 50 points if the winer/loser is a dealer.
Item #1: The number indicates the available tile. If this number is equal to 10, this run will be draw.
Item #5: Exit to the next run.
Chow (吃, #1):Get the sequence by a tile discarded by the third player (ONLY).
Any player only can Chow by the player just before him/her.
You can ignor Pong, Chow and Kong by selecting Pass (過).
Chow (吃, #2): more than one conbination.
The third player discarded #6 of dot. You (北, North) have more than one conbination to Chow.
Chow (吃, #3): more than one conbination.
After selected Chow (吃), only two tiles can be selected:
#5 => (5,6,7)
#7 => (6,7,8)
Chow (吃, #4): more than one conbination.
#5 of dot is selected for (5,6,7).
Chow (吃, #5): more than one conbination.
Done, and then select one tile to be discarded.
Kong (槓, #1):
You can Kong the tile discarded by any other player or the tile drawed by yourself. You can choose to Pong the tile from the above image.
Kong (槓, #2):
Done and you will draw one more tile after Kong.
